Maintenance Technician

<p>We are looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent attention to detail for the position of <strong>Maintenance Technician</strong>. The Maintenance Technician is responsible <span style="color: black;">for </span>all maintenance activities in a Water Treatment products manufacturing plant to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, and facility systems. This position encompasses various maintenance tasks, coordinating both preventive and corrective maintenance efforts, and collaborating closely with the Production, Quality, Engineering, and EHS teams to ensure high equipment availability, product quality, and continuous improvement.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><u>Roles and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p><span style="color: black;">1)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintenance involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining machines, equipment, and building systems, including tasks such as routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, and fixing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or structural issues.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">2)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation-related issues</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">3)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Coordinate with Production and Engineering to minimize downtime and support smooth manufacturing flow</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">4)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure compliance with safety procedures, LOTO, plant standards, and statutory requirements</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">5)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support reliability improvement, energy efficiency, and cost reduction initiatives</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">6)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in shutdowns, preventive maintenance schedules, and emergency repairs.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">7)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Oversee installation, repair, and upkeep of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and general facilities.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">8)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure proper functioning of plant machinery, equipment, and utilities.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">9)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Monitor maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">10) Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, costs, and inspections.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">11) Planned PPM for the Respective machine will be carried out and records will be maintained.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">12) Identify and resolve equipment-related issues proactively.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">13) Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">14) Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">15) Prepare maintenance reports and communicate with management regularly.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">16) Monitoring the Adherence of using Safety PPE will be monitored all over the shop floor.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">17) Handling AMC Vendors for on time services of the machines.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">18) Maintaining and updating Breakdown, MTTR and MTBF Reports</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">19) Supporting Design and production team.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">20) Maintaining Compressor health and pneumatic lines in Shop Floor.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">21) Supporting NPD and Admin activities.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">22) Commissioning and Movement Activities of New or Existing Machines.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p><p><strong><u><span class="ql-cursor"></span></u></strong></p><p><span style="color: black;">1)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Qualification ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related discipline</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">2)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;4 to 6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">3)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong knowledge of plant and machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">4)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong skills in maintenance planning, scheduling, breakdown analysis, and preventive/predictive maintenance.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">5)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Good knowledge of maintenance documentation, spare parts management, and maintenance records.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">6)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Thorough understanding of safety procedures, statutory requirements, and good maintenance practices.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">7)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">8)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Water Treatment Products manufacturing or similar industrial operations, will be an added advantage.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">9)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">10) Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, utilities, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance practices.</span></p>
